The left side placement of the fuel tank on this '99 Dodge 4WD, 6BT Cummins diesel pickup with standard transmission, just didn't leave enough room when the transfer case was moved back by the installation of the Dual Range.  An extra 12 inches of space will be needed towards the rear, since the Dual Range goes between the transmission and the transfer case.
